Our projects bring together coaches, mentors, and volunteers to provide opportunities for underprivileged youth, helping them develop skills, confidence, and self-worth. Local Church Supply Donation
We have partnered with Warwick United Methodist Church to offer school supplies, toiletries, detergents and other essential hygiene products.

Summer Food Service Program
The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a summer program that provides nutritious meals and snacks to eligible sites during the summer months when kids are away from school. Kids ages 2-18 receive nutritious meals prepared by our cooks.
Kids & Pros NFL Alumni Camps
We believe that playing sports and developing character go hand in hand. SSCDC engages current and retired NFL players to teach football fundamental skills and character lessons to youth through our Kids & Pros program.
Back to School Giveaway 2022
Over 1000 school supplies which included products directly from local schools supply lists were gifted to children in the local community. Along with personal hygiene pack that included deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, body wash, body lotion and more.
New Winter Coats Giveaway 2022
75 new, high-quality coats in sizes ranging from toddler 2T to adult large were donated. The designs and colors were appropriate for all genders and featured well-known brands such as Calvin Klein, Adidas, and Colombia Sport.
Child & Adult Care Food Program
The Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federal program that provides nutritious meals and snacks to eligible children and adults at participating Child Care Centers, Day Care Homes and Community Centers.

Christmas Gift Donation 2020
75 Christmas gifts were donated to children in the local Hampton Roads community. Each gift included age appropriate toys, sports balls, snacks, candy, educational learning material, movies and personal care items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, body lotion and deodorant.
