OUR MISSION
The mission of Savage Sports Community Development Corporation (SSCDC) is to foster an environment of respect for others and self while empowering individuals and families through our programs; regardless of their socioeconomic status, religion, gender, or ethnic background. The cornerstone of SSCDC is to provide services and or programs designed to meet the comprehensive needs of the community we serve. We instill confidence and discipline while encouraging our youth to utilize the opportunities available to them. We encourage them to focus on achievement and accepting personal responsibility for their actions. Over the past 20 years, SSCDC has gone beyond the norm in terms of our aggressive efforts to develop programs and services for our children and youth that minister to the total person in a holistic manner.

OUR PURPOSE
Our purpose is to sow the seeds of success in the hearts of our disadvantaged youth. Through our programs, participants can learn successful communication skills, problem-solving, discipline, dedication, and a determination to achieve. SSDC is making countless "human investments" through our mentoring and healthy feeding programs. By coupling underprivileged youth with professional athletes and local business leaders, we hope that they will see firsthand how anything in life is attainable. These efforts have allowed young people to speak with, pose questions, and become friends with their heroes. We feel that this will not only fuel a desire to succeed in our local youth but also produce a dedicated and productive member within their families, schools, community, and society as a whole.

Savage Sports Community Development Corp. is proud to have been awarded the 2022 Community Service Award at the 5th Annual Excel in Education Gala. For 20 years, we have been dedicated to serving our community and making a positive impact in the lives of those around us. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone on our team, as well as the ongoing support from our community. We are grateful for this recognition and look forward to continuing to serve our community in the future.
